My dog leela, a german shepherd cross playing tug of war. My first upload. This has been recorded at 96khz for the purpose of time stretching and pitching down to make dinosaur/monster sounds. I recently noticed that i've only uploaded the 44. 1khz version of this file. . . And i have lost the original :(i will endeavour to record her again and upload it as a 96khz file some time soon.
The mic was in the window. The insects of the night are the nearest sound. . . In the distance you can hear a dog barking, someone playing a djembe and fireworks.
I recorder my bulldog's weird nose and throat sounds while he is playing with his ball and simply slowed it. The quality is quite dirty but you might use that thing?.
I found another pair of dogs around the corner from where i found the first two and they were even growlier and scarier. This neighborhood was junkyard dog central! some great slobbery barks. Audiotechnica at22 > marantz pmd660 > edited in wavelab.
A chaotic sample of barking dogs and meowing cats from an animal shelter in the morning. Doppler effect makes sample warble like magnetic tape at the beginning.
My 9 year old collie getting a bit defensive with his bone!the sound quality is not the best but you should be able to get some bits out of it if you want.
A short (but somewhat loopable) recording from an animal shelter of cats and kittens mewling/meowing as loudly as they can with dogs barking in the background. These are cries of, "pay attention to me!" and not of physical distress beyond the need to be touched and played with.
